Our Breach Clear uses PC (polycarbonate) lenses. This is a huge upgrade over traditional TAC lenses.

The salt resistant lens coating adds a barrier to protect against salt particles which helps extends the life of your lenses. The Hydrophobic coating will repel water keeping your vision clear and reducing the need to wipe your lenses dry, again extending the life of your lenses. Reducing the need to wipe saltwater (basically rubbing tiny salt particles into your lenses) is a huge plus to keeping your lenses in great shape.

Great for sports

These are the most comfortable glasses I’ve ever had for wearing with a baseball hat. Formed to the face but not tight and don’t have to wear the hat on the top of my head like my Grandpap.

Best fitting frames for my big head

I did the buy 2 get 1 free. Got 2 Breach XL and 1 Big Kahuna XL in 3 lens colors. Frames seem sturdy and are very comfortable on my head in both width and length of the arms which is equally important. They look great too. Note that the lenses do have a tint when lloking thru and it DOES NOT correspond to the color of the mirror. The green lenses have a very slight violet tint. The Deep Blue have a yellow tint when looking thru. And the Red Sunset have a blueish tint. I like the tint of the green mirror the best. Very crip image which is great! I'm not a fan of yellow tint but I didn't see it listed anywhere before ordering.
I've only had a couple days but so far they are worth the money and the best fitting frames for my big head.

Perfect fishing glasses

The wrap around design really covers the corners of your eyes. Love the look of the green mirrored lenses for fishing freshwater.

I’ve worn other high dollar brand sunglasses and Detour’s are much better. The fit of the glasses are perfect. Being 6’8 about 280lbs, I needed some bigger sunglasses. The clarity of the lenses are second to none!
