Key vs. Pow Pow

Shape

Pow Pow: features a cylindrical lens shape with a flatter design and a sleek, minimalist finish.

Key: features a spherical lens shape with a rounder design and a wider field of vision.

Function

Cylindrical lenses offer a simple, reliable way to ride while providing a streamlined effect beneath your helmet. These lenses tend to be slightly more limiting in view and range, as their flat profile can create some distortion around the edges of your field of vision.

Spherical lenses provide a wider range of vision when skiing/snowboarding. Spherical lenses have more advantages when riding, as they curve naturally around your face to adapt to your eyes. These lenses tend to come with a hefty price tag, which is well worth it to highly experienced skiers and snowboarders.

The Groomers

The Pow Pow build is the perfect option for groomers and gentler runs. Whether you’re first getting acquainted with the slopes or you enjoy cruising the groomers, cylindrical lenses are a reliable go-to for many riders of varying experience levels. The Pow Pow strikes the perfect balance between performance and style, providing you a reliable option while enjoying the powder.

The Black Diamonds

Our Key build is much better suited to more experienced, aggressive skiers. Its spherical shape allows for a wider field of vision with improved depth perception. Cylindrical lenses, while great, tend to create a slightly distorted view near the upper and lower edges of the frame. When flying through treelines and carving steep slopes, having a spherical lens will prove to be much more beneficial in navigating extreme terrain.

Lens Technology

Both the Key and Pow Pow snow goggles are made with the same Hi-Fi lens technology that ups contrast and adapts to different light conditions throughout the day. In temperamental mountain weather, it’s important to have lenses that will go with the flow, and our unique lenses are made to roll with the punches throughout long days of skiing and snowboarding.

Both goggle designs are made with magnetic tech that will allow you to swap your lenses in and out of their frame as you please. They’ll stay secure as you ride and detach when you're ready for a different style.
